Dear Valued Customer,
Since the beginning of 2017, the number of documents being rejected by the embassy of china has risen sharply.
To avoid your document being rejected, please read the following guidelines and make sure that your document is compliant.
1 No empty spaces greater than 2.5 inches are allowed on any page of the document .
If you have any such spaces on any page please fill in the open area with bolded capital large X. example:
This applies to all documents, even if issued by a state or federal agency. Practically, the state will not fill the X's for you. Some customers are adding the X's themselves. We strongly encourage all customers to do this themselves. The required font size of the X is 24pt. You must use 7 X each line.
We have done it to help customers, but it is very time consuming, so we prefer not to do it. If we have to do it we will charge $20.00 per page. The customer must print this statement, sign it and write how many pages are needed. In general we do not proof read or inspect documents.
2 Any document containing handwriting will be rejected by the embassy of china. The only exception is for the signature; The name must be typed.
3 Some of the documents get rejected because they are certified as true copies. Example:
A company will make a Xerox copy of their articles of incorporation, then they make a statement on a top page to certify it as a true copy of an original, then notarize it and certify the notary from the state.
This document will be rejected. The correct procedure is to order a certified copy from the state. No notary is accepted to certify a true copy.
4 The document should be certified from the same state where it was issued. Federal issued documents do not require a state certification.
5 All college degrees should be originals. No certified copies are accepted.
6 The required Chinese embassy form must be completed and signed by the same person that signed the document. If it is a government document, then any person in the company may sign the form.
7 The person who signs the form must provide a VERY CLEAR copy of their driver's license.
If your documents are rejected for any of the above stated reasons, US Legalization will refund you the embassy fee and return your document. Our service fee will not be refunded.
If your documents are rejected for any other reasons, we will inform you and try to resolve the issue with the embassy.
I have read the above statement and confirm that I agree
